# 📞 How to add a field where customers can enter their phone number?

> Add a phone number field to the Cowlendar booking form for SMS and contact purposes.

**Steps to add a custom field where a customer can enter there phone number**

In your Shopify admin dashboard look at the left panel and click on the **Apps.**
Click on **Cowlendar.**
Click on **My Servic**e.
Click **Edit** on the service you want to add a question to.

Click on the **Advanced tab.**

In the advanced tab you will scroll down and **find the Custom question section.**
Click on **What contact information to ask?**

Select **"Email + Phone" or "Phone".**
Click **Edit** on the **Phone question.**

Set your **default country.**

Click **Save.**
Click **Update.**
