# 📨 How to Customize Confirmation Emails for Each Service in Cowlendar

You can add unique information to the confirmation email your customers receive when they book a specific service. Follow the two simple sections below to set up custom email content per service.
### Add Custom Text to a Service
In your Shopify admin dashboard look at the left panel and click on the **Apps.** 
Click on **Cowlendar.**
Click on **My Service.**
Click **Edit** on the service

Click on the **Advanced tab.**

Scroll down until you see the **Customize Email section.**
Enter the extra content you want included in that service’s confirmation email**.**

Make sure to click **Update** before leaving.
### Link Custom Content in Your Email Template

The custom email content you add is unique to each service and only appears if the`[Custom service text]` block is included in your email template. Make sure to save changes in both sections for everything to work correctly

In the dashboard, open **Settings** and select **Email Settings**.

Find **Customer email confirmation**.
Choose the template that matches your service type.
In the email body editor, insert the placeholder block: [Custom service text]

Save your template.
Now, whenever a customer books that specific service, the confirmation email will include your custom text along with all the standard booking details.
